When we first moved-in here in our apartment, we didn’t know anything about the Manager’s personal life especially his gender until he confessed to us. Well, we didn’t know that he is a gay until he invited us to come over for his wedding reception. When the California had first approved the gay wedding, they took advantage of it and married his long time partner after their daughter who is now 15 years old. That’s how long they have been together and since then they became inseparable. I believe he and his partner have been to the San Diego Hillcrest where most of the transgender are hanging out.

The reason why I know about this place is because I’ve seen it on the local TV news one day and they were featuring one of the restaurants over there. Anyway, at first, the manager of our apartment was so hesitant to reveal his true identity to us but because he trusted us and we’ve been renting to this apartment for a very long time now, he blurted it out and told us about his life and relationship. We’re the longest tenant who rented this place, so, they thought might us well tell us about him and his partner. They’re nice people though.
