Laptops, digital cameras, android phones, techy toys and other cordless gadgets are commonly used by people and of course, we also do. But what keeps these devices alive every time we enjoyed their features? This stuff may not be complete without a rechargeable battery that gives full source of energy while we take pleasures on it. If it runs out of power, then we can re-charge it in order to keep on going of whatever we are doing. That makes it very functional to our handy gadgets.

I know one of my cousins who is actually a gamer ever since. Now, because technology is moving forward so fast, a type of gaming experience is in the market. I wonder if this so called xbox slim invention reaches already in our hometown. When I first saw its ad, I remember him. This complete package with its cables, hard drives and many accessories is inclusive with a reasonable price. The features, it is amazingly designed in a small size and in a sleek form. I guess Microsoft has gone behind the suits of people. Believe it; it will vie for the released PS3.

We are making some room inside in our children’s bedroom. We’re starting to get rid of the stuff that we don’t need like the changing table that comes with 3 drawers and replace it to a regular dresser to store our daughter’s clothes. We went to the local department store yesterday to buy the dresser and it was heavy, I’m glad my husband was there to help me. We were already at the cashier ready to pay for our purchase and I thought I have to give credit to those people behind the Retail POS System inventors because they helped us in some ways. We didn’t have to lift up the heavy drawer just to swipe it on the barcode reader since the system includes portable barcode reader. How convenient it is?

Empty Nester

We are moving my youngest daughter to college! She is the last to leave the nest so I am officially an empty nester. I do not know what I will do with my time, although over the last couple of years, I have had a glimpse into this upcoming period of my life. Summer has not needed me so much since she began to drive a couple of years ago. And I have relinquished a lot of my school mom activities and responsibilities as the girls got older. I was always the room mom when they were in elementary school. I organized the seasonal parties, called the other mothers for assistance, bought the teacher gifts, chaperoned school field trips and dances, and sent homemade cookies to class about once a month. I made sure my girls were happy and had a great learning and socializing experience in school. Now, I may call expertsatellite and add some more cooking and travel channels for my viewing since I will have so much extra time on my hands now!

Gadget freak

We are anxiously waiting for our tax refund and hopefully it’ll be here before the week is over. I can’t want to shop for my DSLR at the local electronic store and my husband mentioned that he’ll go and check the store’s refurbished netbooks as well and if he sees something he likes, he said he might purchase it. My husband loves gadgets and electronics, that’s just the way he is. He already owned my Sony VAIO laptop because I’m not using it. He told me though that I have to take it with me whenever I go back to the Philippines for a vacation so we can communicate with each other. However, he told me upfront earlier today that he wants an iPad 2. I told him that he can get what he wants because he’s the one who brings home the bacons anyway. We’ll see!

My brother is getting married next month. I love his fiancé and could not be happier to have her join our family. They bought a house pretty close to us, so I cannot wait to hang out with them after they are married and get to know her even better. My brother asked me last week if I had one piece of advice to offer him about home ownership. I told him that if I could go back and change anything, I would have gotten a home security system in our first home. When we were newlyweds, our home was broken into when my wife was home alone. Thankfully the robbers took a few things and fled without harming my wife, but I always felt so guilty for not being there and not having a security system. I told my brother that I would be happy to help him find one for his new house and suggested he do an online search for home security systems Georgia. He agreed that a security system is something that he is willing to pay for, especially since he will be away from home a lot for work.

Whenever I go shopping online for just about anything I feel like purchasing on that day, I always make sure that I get the best deals out of it. The last item I bought online was the black tote handbag and it was 60% off, I bought it from nomorerack website. When I first saw the website, I couldn’t believe how unbeatable prices their products were. I had to make sure that the website is legitimate before making any purchase by reading some of the nomorerack reviews and testimonials from their customers. Well, majority of their customers were happy and satisfied with their purchase and transactions with them, so I pretty much went ahead and bought something from their website.

I never really cared much about having Cable Television at home but when my sister wouldn’t stop talking about those Housewife shows I decided it was time to spring for satellite since it was a better deal and I got even more channels. Anyway, I’ve become obsessed with them all which is good since I feel like all BRAVO does all day is rerun old episodes! I work from home so I’ve actually been getting less work done than ever but those Housewives of New Jersey are just fascinating – I can’t pull myself away when they’re on there giving each other attitude! It’s also fun because my sister watches out in Oregon and we chat about the episodes afterwards which is a good way for us to keep in touch more often than we were before. I never watched much TV before now but I have to be honest and say that I totally understand what all the fuss is about when it comes to reality Tv. It’s totally addictive, at least for me!
