Here are my recent Photographs

I hope you guy’s will like/love it just like I do. We were at the Imperial Beach yesterday for a special congregation gathering and I got some really nice photos I took during sunset. The sun was perfect at the time and there were people watching it as it goes down the horizon and eventually disappears. I just want to share these photos with quotes I got and like I said, hope you guys love it. Check out or subscribe to my Facebook Photography Page at Jerla’s Photography for more photos.

These people were perfect for my subject too :D

I thought the quote is perfect for this photo (of course I don’t know what they were talking about, it’s none of my business), this couple where there to watch the sunset and even took a video of it, they gave kisses to each other after the sun disappears and left the scene.

Here’s my very own Moon as well :D

These photos were all taken on that same night!

The Trio

We were in the tram when I spotted these 3 fellows. They were walking together and waiting for each other when one was slow and lagging behind. It was amazing to see how these 3 little giraffe get a long so well at the time. They were also curious at us looking at them. They kind of stick their head out to see who’s coming and who’s watching them. What a smart long necked creatures.

Mama bird cares for her eggs

We saw this huge white bird at the pond and I noticed that she was trying to arrange on something. I looked at her closely curious on what she was doing when all of a sudden I saw some eggs underneath her. That’s when I realized that she’s a mama bird and she’s trying to protect her eggs from predators. There were also other birds around her and looks like they we’re fighting over something because they were loud at each other and trying to impress on someone.

Birds

I dreamt of being able to take good photos of this little flying creature the “humming bird”. Without have the right camera, there’s no way we can get a good picture of this humming bird. Fortunately, I was able to get a good shot of this humming bird at the Safari Zoo. We we’re waiting for the cheetah run show when my husband saw this humming bird in front of us buzzing while sucking on the nectar. It was picture perfect, the bird stayed in view for a while and I set my DSLR setting into a multiple shots. Among the pictures I have, this one is I think the best. I’m proud of my photos and this kid of photos motivates me even more to continue loving photography. Anyway, the blue bird, which I think is a parrot; it’s a wild bird. It’s not leashed and he’s just standing on a branch. I think he is used to the park and to the people going by that he’s not scared anymore. Both are lovely birds. Sssssssnnnnnaaaakkkkkeeeee

I’m not really fond of these kinds of creature. It creeps the heck out of me just even watching it crawl closely. You might be wondering why I still had the guts of taking pictures of it. Well, I didn’t have to go near the snake to snap photos of it, I used me 50-300mm lens and I was able to get a good shots of this snake. Do you love snakes, or anything that is crawling creatures? I was cringing and at the same time shaky when I took a pictures of it but when I saw my photos, it’s not bad at all. What do you think of these photos? Pretty Blue Bird

Do you it’s name or what type of bird it is? I think this is a gorgeous bird. This was taken at the Zoo where majority of the animals are wild. This bird is not in the cage and it’s not leashed, definitely wild but for some reason this bird is not going anywhere outside the zoo. It seems like this bird is comfortable enough to live in the place where he’s at. I love how vibrant its color is. It’s jus so beautiful and the only place to see this kind of bird is at the Zoo.

Orchids

Wow! It’s been awhile that I haven’t participated in this meme. Anyway, here are my pink gorgeous orchids for my entry this week’s Pink Friday. I took these photos at my friend’s garden a few weeks ago. I’m sorry I’m a little late for submission. These are my recent photographs and I uploaded it to my Facebook Photography Fan Page, you can check ‘em out too, just search “Jerla’s Photography” on facebook and feel free to browse for more photos. Quotes were randomly taken from many different quotes websites. I hope you enjoyed viewing my entry and thanks for hopping by.

Balboa Park (largest park in SD)

These photos were taken a few years ago. We were at the Balboa Park, 20 minutes drive from our location; this park is actually the largest park here in San Diego. You can’t view the whole park if you will only visit there for a day because this park is huge and it consists of many different museums like Air & Space museum, automotive museum, Natural History museum, museum of Men, Japanese Garden Museum, Railroad Museum and etc… Landscapes, arts and Cultures are found in here. What I love about this park is that there are several water fountains around the park where kids can play with the water; however the huge water fountain is located at the entrance, by the parking lot where water shows are sometimes played. This park look stunning during spring season because of the colorful trees that surrounds it. This park is surely a main destination for many tourists that come from around the globe.

I was excited taking pictures of it and of course I was also excited to share it to all of you. Hope you enjoyed viewing my photos :D thanks for coming by.

I can only see these peacocks at the San Diego Zoo and I had wanted to take photos of it spreading its wings. The fact that we have been to this zoo for quite sometime now and I had no luck until the other day. I was so happy taking multiple pictures of this peacock. My husband caught him doing some rituals; he was showing off to the female peacock trying to get her attention. I took advantage of it for it was my chance of making my dream come true. The above photos are some of my photoshoots of the peacock. It was indeed fulfilling and it really made my day. Our Zoo adventure turned out to be incredible and I went home satisfied with my captures. I hope you enjoyed my photos and if you want to check out more of my photography, feel free to visit my Jerla’s Photography facebook fan page. Thanks and hope to see you there… don’t forget to drop me a line, I will appreciate it a lot.
